Breast augmentation, liposuction, abdominoplasty, facelifts and other facial surgeries are performed in Dr. Liland's operative suite. This is possilbe with current anesthesia techniques such as intravenous (I.V.) or local anesthesia. Patients that are in good health with no illnesses will qualify for this in-office cost effective style of anesthesia.

Surgical procedures vary in length from 1 1/2 hours for breast augmentation to 5 hours for a facelift. Add approximately 2 hours to each surgery for preparation and recovery. The patient will need someone to provide transportation, give overnight attention to the medication schedule and provide bathroom assistance.

Initial follow-up visits vary with each procedure- usually 1 to 4 days. Remaining follow-ups vary with individual healing. Breast augmentation and liposuction patients usually return to work in 5 days, while facelift and abdominoplasty patients vary 8 to 14 days. Individual exercise and lifting limitations are given per procedure. Light exercise is usually permitted in 3 weeks.

Procedure fees include surgery, anesthesia, operative room, and follow-up visits in the postoperative period.
